I was raised as a Christianand personal know too many dozens of them to buy what you just said. There are many different Christian perspectives, but you really do need to expand your circle of friends if you don't believe there are millions of Christians who would love to "save" every atheist on this planet.Also, the *fundamental basis* of several branches of Christianity is getting off of this planet which Satan has screwed up and going to Heaven - the place where everything is good, you know, unlike Earth.swb17 months ago#1439reply

The problem is that people make the faith, not the opposite. Not any kind of book. What people who call themselves christians say or do is what is christian. So the phrase "they are not really christians" is moot. Christianity is not some ideal situation, is reality, is all these fundamendalists you mention, the rest of christians who are not so active and maybe more tolerant, just don't count so much.
