Unbelievable. I've only had it for two days and my new monitor is already going out. The backlighting or the colors were blinking this morning. Why am I destroying monitors? Are you not supposed to look at them?
I guess you are just too good at stare contest against monitors.
Didn't you know that a monitor dies whenever they lose a stare contest?!

Too much work. Try blinking, works for me!
Ah, back to reality...did you try the monitor on another computer? What model was your monitor?
BTW, great comics!

I'll try it on another PC if it starts flickering again. But my guess is, it's the monitor.swb10 months ago#1642reply

Hmm I read some review from the customers on newegg from your link. The monitor doesn't seem to be very high quality; lots of report of dead pixel & back light bleed. Aim for a refund instead of a replacement of the same model I guess...
Hah I guess I should give myself a user name...Username164210 months ago#1643reply

I read through a couple pages of reviews before I bought it. No one had anything bad to say. No dead pixels, nothing. Maybe they're starting to put all the good reviews at the top.swb10 months ago#1644reply

No clue about the monitor, but today's comic was brilliant.ZB10 months ago#1647reply
I've always purchased Samsung or ViewSonic monitors and never had problems with them - I'd recommend picking up one.Duck10 months ago#1653reply

ThanksI've always liked ViewSonic but didn't want to fork out the extra cash. If I have to return it, I'll probably upgrade to one of those.swb10 months ago#1654reply
