I think I'll make Mondays into Mashup-Mondays. That way, I can offend someone new every week.
This assumes the folks I parody actually read my comics, but I do have evidence (exhibit a; exhibit b; xzibit c).
Also, I love Wiktionary.
wow, foul and accurate.Anonymous10 months ago#1680reply
Funny.that's the funniest C&H i've ever read.
no, seriously....it is.Anonymous10 months ago#1681reply
fyiI reversed the comment sort order, so now the newest comments appear at the bottom. This should make the comments easier to read chronologically as you scroll down from the comic / journal.swb10 months ago#1682reply

I sure hope this results in a full-fledged strip war. In both senses.Czenda10 months ago#1683reply

Me too.But no one has the balls to take me on in a strip-off. They know they'd loose - in both senses. =o
Actually, the truth is, no one cares. I'm still the underdog. For example, Cy&H is ranked 4000 in the world, where 909 is only ranked 54,000.
The Explosm dudes have a bad habit of adapting jokes from unknown comics. They are the bizzaro Carlos Mencia of the webcomics world. Instead of copying famous artists, they copy unknown ones (I am one in a long line). And of course it's easy to get away with because the artists they're copying are unknown.
I think they're funny or I wouldn't bother to parody them. But they are what they are.swb10 months ago#1702reply
Where is this list of rankings? I would love to see it.
Cy&H? Pfft 909 all the way.

aw, shucksCheck out alexa.com. Just put a domain name in the search box to get statistics. It's based on information collected from 10 million Alexa toolbar users. They keep pretty decent stats on the top 100,000 websites in the world. But as you get towards 1,000,000 to 20,000,000+ the numbers get less reliable. This is mainly because they only have 10 million people collecting stats.swb10 months ago#1708reply
I'm a fan of both, but bravo sir +1 to 909.Duck10 months ago#1709reply
hahaha, amazing comic dude!Anonymous10 months ago#1710reply
Reminds me of the Chaser(?) guest comics they had one week (basically it was just butsex).Anonymous10 months ago#1711reply
If it's any consolationAlexa says:
"Average Load Time for Explosm.net
Very Slow (7.604 Seconds), 92% of sites are faster."
I've been a fan of theirs for a while nonetheless :)Tafi10 months ago#1717reply
Also, it's weighted to less computer-literate readers, since they're more likely to install an Alexa toolbar... ;)Ben10 months ago#1751reply
